In reply to @mratsim "also <@754284517316886598> it's super": thats where things get really complicated 🙂 and thats why i would wish/vote/donate/work for that kind of services to become part of nims' std-lib. The way araq has layed it out e.g. having `pinToCpu`, knowing your OS etc. and guzba with nimsimd, which seriously belongs into the std-lib, would strengthen Nims position as look very low-level stuff is provided and cared for (reading the cache-topology, NUMA layout, hardware-timers, etc.) and you don't have to spend days to figure out howto use private OS-Api via C/Cpp.. Maybe when the next userbase poll comes up..
