Itried posting this in the forum but I keep getting some error registering. These time internet seems buggy so I will just paste it here. "First of all I'm new to nim and I was previously programming in Julia. I discovered nim just like that in a thread where some one mentionned it. After skimming through the language, I couldn't help but feel like it was better suited for my project than julia. I was building a game engine kernel in Julia an reached the state of a usable proof of concept (it wasn't perfect but really explained did well in being the kind of engine I want to make). So I was porting it to Nim because to me, both my engine kernel and Nim seems to aims the same thing: Liberty, freedom, ease, compatibility and more. So while being really seduced by the language, I have seen multiple old post about nim, some conflicts about leadership, roadmaps and stuff. Some hard forks like nimskull and people leaving. So while the excitement to start my port is real, I still want to know I'm embarking in, so to the community I'm asking: - How is Nim actually going ? - What are we aiming for ? - What is actually developed - Is there somethings that a nim's beginner like me should know ?"
