In reply to @gesee37 "Itried posting this": 1. nim is going pretty well and is under active development 2. currently, the main push is towards Nimony, which is practically a full blown rewrite of the compiler, which will become Nim 3.0 3. not sure what you mean by this question 4. Nim is a very enjoyable language to write, but there are a few papercuts and rough edges, especially considering the stdlib, depending on exactly what you want to do. But very often you'll find that there's a third party library that does whatever it is you want to do better than what's in the stdlib. Nim is pretty suitable for game development and i definitely suggest giving it a go
