They're not 1:1, nimble is more similar to a traditional pkg manager, offers
task automation etc.

Atlas has local-first workspace management, clones dependencies locally to the
work dir of your project, allows easy vendoring, allows linking different local
projects together

I would say I prefer atlas for ease of use and the local-first approach, but I
know nimble has a way of doing that too
